jack benny

Meet darling little JACK BENNY, a 10-month-old Parson Jack Russell Terrier who was born December 10, 2025, and a new arrival at WFTRM Chicago. All 15 pounds of little legs, wiggle walk and lovable personality is ready to steal your heart. Loves to be held, carried and rolling over for his tummy to be rubbed. Jack so enjoys being with you, laying across your lap or lounging nearby, hanging out on the deck on a nice fall day. Snuggles in his comfy donut bed by day but hopping up on that bed to turn in for the night. He can be precocious and persistent when he wants something and his tail wags, melting brown eyes look up at you for approval. Jack is an owner surrender whose daughter purchased him, then mom took over was she was not a fan of him being crating all day. She has two older Jack Russell Terriers and loves him but realizes she does not have the right home for him. No fenced yard and staggering work shifts he was finding fun things to do chewing up slippers and cords. He loves the big, fenced yard here at Rescue, has the best time exploring holes or chase with Fabio and has behaved so well in the house. Speaking of critter holes, Jack Benny would be the bomb at Barn Hunt or Agility. He has the best time in the yard chasing birds and squirrels. Fun Facts about little Jack is that he is very fast on his feet and a blur when he snatches a toy from Fabio’s mouth. He is fearless when it comes to sniffing out a scent or the vacuum cleaner. He is incredibly intelligent unlocking gates or accomplishing a task even though he has never encountered it before. He mastered the basement stairs in less than 5 seconds. He is house trained which is an amazing bonus. Jack loves the car and thinks he is your co-pilot even sneaking in a lick on your cheek. He is such a sweet guy who deserves the best home and active lifestyle, someone who has time to spend with him and satisfying his smart nature with adventures and outings. He will be such a great little family member and loyal friend. Jack is Neutered, Rabies, Distemper, Bordetalla Vaccinations, 4DX Heartworm tested negative, on Simparica Trio, Fecal Checked, Microchipped and a healthy boy.
