Meet rocky
Rocky is one handsome boy who marches to the beat of his own drum! Independent by nature, he enjoys keeping to himself but offers sweet little kisses when affection strikes his fancy. He's calm and friendly meeting new people, gives wonderful eye contact, and occasionally breaks into a playful bucking-bronco routine! A little nervous outside and sensitive to touch, Rocky is treat motivated and would thrive with an experienced handler who can build his confidence. Ready to earn this gentleman's trust?Although he is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. To help with medical costs, a $600 sponsorship for treatment is available from Friends of Wake County Animal Center. Email HealaHeart@outlook.com for more information. He is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, is microchipped and ready to go home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Rocky, 273077".
