Meet louie
Louie is a 3-year-old, 75 lb Ridgeback/Golden mix with a Golden’s heart and fur so soft you’ll think he’s part chinchilla. He’s snuggly, goofy and playful outside, and loves every person he meets. Great with kids and other dogs. He’s the quintessential Colorado dog: we camp, fly fish, and hike together, and snow hikes are his absolute favorite. He’s good on leash, reliable off leash, a great listener, and house- and crate-trained. He’s a little protective in the best way: he’ll bark to let you know someone’s at the door, then settle right back down.Neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, no medical or dietary needs. Why I’m rehoming: work travel has Louie boarded about 30% of the time, and he deserves better. He’d be perfect for an active family or person who’s home most of the day, ideally with a yard. Happy to share more photos or set up a meet-and-greet.
