Meet alice
Alice is a deaf 73-pound mixed pit terrier! She was rescued in midwinter in December 2023, a deaf white pit-terrier mix. Alice was found in the South Bronx with pneumonia, very skinny, and sick. My husband and I adopted her from NYACC in Manhattan, and made a quick recovery. Over the past 3-4 years, we have gotten to know her very well with lots of patience. She needs a patient owner who can take time to get to know her, as her disability is a big part of who she is. However, she does not let it define her; she just needs time to adjust to you. A home with no children or other animals is a must. Alice's favorite pastimes are sleeping and wearing clothes; we will give you her full wardrobe of T-shirts, hoodies, and dresses! Along with all our other supplies for her, we'll also include any remaining food, her crate, doggy couch, and toys.
