marley

Marley is a 1 yr old Pittie that was abandoned and picked up by Montgomery County Animal Services. We adopted him with the hope of giving him a loving home, but we have realized that our household is not the right fit for his needs at this stage of his life. He is a very energetic, affectionate young dog who needs consistent training, structure, and an experienced owner who can dedicate significant time to his development. Unfortunately, he has become increasingly overexcited and mouthy around our children, and some incidents have resulted in bruising. Despite our efforts, we are concerned about everyone’s safety and feel he would do better in a home without children, with someone experienced in handling energetic, reactive young dogs. We want to find him a home that can give him the time, guidance, and environment he needs to succeed. We will continue to train him in obedience but his skills are still a work in progress. This includes potty training, leash walks, etc.
