toffee

Hi! I'm Toffee, a 7-month-old Chihuahua. I currently weigh just 5 lbs. I'm a quiet, gentle, snuggly girl who is as sweet as my name. I'm looking for an equally sweet family who can love me forever.

Favorite Things: Toffee loves toys: the more, the merrier! She is a typical Chi, mostly sweet but can be very shy until she feels safe with new people, but once she's adjusted she loves snuggles, too. Other than that, this easygoing gal doesn't require much. She will even sleep pretty much wherever you put her.

Training and Manners: Although she's just a young pup, little Toffee already has good basic manners. She is housetrained if let out frequently. She walks well on a leash, is a good passenger on car rides, sleeps in her dog bed (or anywhere) at night, and generally has good basic manners (although as a young dog, she's still learning).

Health and Care: This healthy girl is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccines. As a short-haired gal, Toffee should not need much elaborate grooming, either.

Other Animals: This social butterfly gets along well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. She hasn't been observed around cats yet, but she would probably get along with them too, if given the chance.

Children: Toffee can be a little shy around new people, but she gets along well with children of all ages.

Ideal Home: Toffee will need a single-family home with a securely fenced yard. As a puppy, she'd also benefit from having a human around more often than not as she continues learning and growing.

Overall: This affectionate, clever pup will sweeten the lives of whichever lucky family opens their heart to her (and her toys). Would you love 5 lbs of Toffee? Then visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to apply. If it seems like it could be a good match, her foster family will reach out. Her adoption donation is $500.
