Meet Dixie!

Well, howdy there, y'all! I'm Dixie, and I'm looking for my very own forever family!

My story started with a heartbreaking chapter. My human passed away, leaving my mama and all six of us puppies behind. Thankfully, we got our chance at a fresh start, and now I'm ready to find the family I've been waiting for.

We think I'm an Australian Shepherd x Cattle Dog mix, which means I may have inherited some serious smarts along with my good looks. And speaking of looks — have you noticed my eyes? I've got one of those gorgeous blue-eyed looks that makes people stop scrolling and say, "Well, would you look at HER!" I reckon I was born knowing how to work the camera!

I'm the largest girl in my litter, but I'm also a little more laid-back than some of my siblings. While they're busy auditioning for the Puppy Olympics, I'm perfectly happy taking things at a slightly more relaxed pace. Don't get me wrong — I'm still a puppy with plenty to learn and lots of growing to do, but I may be the perfect balance of playful and chill. Someone's got to keep this bunch grounded, right?

Mama weighs around 55 pounds, and I'm expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. That means I'll be a great size for adventures, family outings, and finding my favorite spot on the couch. I'm not planning to take up the ENTIRE couch, although I reserve the right to change my mind once I discover how comfy it is!

With my possible Aussie and Cattle Dog heritage, I'm likely to be a smart girl who enjoys learning new things. I'll need a family willing to help me with training, exercise, and mental stimulation as I grow. Walks, games, adventures, and learning tricks will help me become the very best version of myself. A clever girl needs a little something to keep her brain busy, after all!

But what I really want is a family to call my own: someone to love me, help me learn about the world, and include me in all the little everyday things that make life special. Whether we're heading out on an adventure or spending a quiet evening at home, I'm ready to be your loyal little sidekick.
