Meet sage
We got Sage from the Metro East Humane Society in March 2024. She was estimated around 3 years old at that time. We were told that Sage had been picked up off the street from animal control and then the Humane Society got her from there. She was adopted out and then returned, we do not know why she was previously returned. We then adopted her, we took in another dog, and they did not get along. My parents offered to take her in since she already knew them and is nervous around strangers. My mom is now having trouble keeping Sage as she is a strong dog and is a lot for her to handle. She does not like men usually but can make exceptions if you are patient and work with her. She does not do well with kids since she is large and quite rowdy. We haven't had her around any cats, so I do not know how she does with them. She can do well with certain dogs just depending. She can be possessive over her people, toys, and bowls. She is a sweet girl, she just needs a patient home.
