🥹 She's the LAST of her litter still waiting for a family. Could you be the one she's been waiting for?
Meet Ebony, a gorgeous mixed-breed girl who's approximately 16 months old and weighs 55 lbs. She's beautiful, she's gentle, she's easy-going, and she's just about as laid-back as a dog can be!
But there's something about Ebony's story that makes us want to find her a home even more. 💔
❤️ A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE
Ebony and her siblings were just MINUTES away from being euthanized at a high-kill shelter in the South Texas/Mexico border area when an amazing rescue group stepped in and saved them all.
Every one of her siblings has since found a loving forever home.
Every one of them… except Ebony.
Somehow, this sweet girl is still waiting for someone to notice her. She's been given a second chance at life, and now all she needs is a family to give her the happily ever after she deserves. 🏡

🐱 WHAT ABOUT CATS?
Ebony hasn't been formally cat-tested yet, but we suspect she may do just fine with feline friends. If you're interested in adopting her and have cats at home, the rescue can arrange a cat test to help determine whether she'd be a good match.

We think Ebony would absolutely thrive in a relaxed household where she can spend plenty of time indoors with her favorite people.
She could be happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love for herself, or sharing her home with another compatible dog.
She doesn't need a huge backyard or an overly active lifestyle. She just needs a family who will cherish her, include her in everyday life, and never give up on her.

Ebony is spayed, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We have mainly adopted only in the Northeast but are expanding to include Midwest and PNW starting in September of 2026
The adoption fee listed ($495) INCLUDES transport from Texas to one or around one of the locations below.
