Meet mary jane
The Wake County shelter has so many deserving pups so how do you single out just one as being a little extra special? Mary Jane came to foster because she has a unique disability that makes walking....challenging. The vets think it is cerebellar hypoplasia which means the part of her brain that controls her physical movements didn't develop according to plan. So MJ doesn't walk so much as she skips, hops, weaves and occasionally tips over. And the beautiful thing about her? She doesn't know and she doesn't care that she is different from other dogs. And if she sees a patch of sunny grass to plop down in, she literally beams with happiness. Because Happy is what MJ does best. Every moment of every day. She loves snuggles, ignores the cats, enjoys porch time watching the people and pups walk by (and occasionally they come up and meet her which makes her whole day better) and in general is an incredibly easy, well behaved, housebroken dog. If you are interested in learning more about this incredibly sweet girl, email her foster mom at susan@jandsbray.com Primary Color: Grey Weight: 41.2 Age: 5yrs 1mths 1wks
