Arlo has been with one family since he was 6 weeks old. He grew up with two of his siblings and several cats and children. He is high energy during playtime but loves a long nap with a fuzzy blanket and his person.He is protective and loyal- friendly around other friendly dogs, but reactive around loud or aggressive dogs. He has been the only dog at home for 5 years and needs more socializing. Friendly around cats and kids- but will playfully chase if they run.Arlo has some allergies and overgrown nails that need frequent filing. He is on a vet diet and medications, and requires mild oral sedation for nail trims, as well as someone calm and patient as foot touching makes him uncomfortable. Arlo has some challenges, like any dog, but he has been the sweetest and best boy anyone could ask for. We came to a very hard decision to rehome him since we have a newborn and no longer have time or money to give him the attention he needs.
