Laika has been through more in her life than any dog should ever have to experience, but despite it all, she has the biggest heart and SO much love to give! This beautiful girl absolutely adores people, and her excitement when she sees her favorite humans is impossible to resist. She has the happiest, most adorable full-body wiggle that will make you smile every single time! 💗

Laika is a playful, fun-loving girl who enjoys the simple things in life! She LOVES her squeaky toys, chasing balls around the yard, and spending time with her people. She's also a fantastic copilot! She does great in the car and loves heading out on field trips with our volunteers. Whether it's an adventure out and about or a relaxing afternoon at home, Laika is just happy to be included.

And when playtime is over? Laika is a total cuddle bug! She loves being close to her people, happily climbs into laps for snuggles, and knows how to make herself comfortable. She's a big fan of cozy beds and will even tuck herself into her blankets, getting all wrapped up for a good snooze. It's absolutely adorable! She's also housetrained and ready to settle into a home of her very own.

Laika does have some specific needs when it comes to finding her perfect match. She struggles around other dogs and is looking for a dog-experienced family in a quieter neighborhood, with a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. She will need to be the only pet in her home, with a family committed to keeping her safely separated from other animals so she can thrive.

Laika's past hasn't been easy, but we are determined to make sure her future is everything she deserves. She doesn't want a busy social life with other animals -- she just needs a loving family, a safe place to call home, a yard full of toys, and plenty of cozy blankets.

After everything she's been through, Laika is ready to be the spoiled princess she should have always been. 👑💕
