Meet balou
Howlo there! I’m Balou!
My foster calls me Balougie, and I’m pretty sure that’s my official name now. I’m about 1.5 years old, weigh 35–40 lbs., and would like to know whether your lap is currently available.
I’m a playful, affectionate guy who enjoys people and other dogs. I love fetch and leaping around the yard, though sometimes my enthusiasm gets ahead of my coordination. My foster has plenty of stories about that!
Once playtime is over, I’ll be looking for somewhere soft to sleep, preferably beside you. Fair warning: my foster says I snore like a trucker.
I’ve been doing really well with crate training and keeping both the house and my kennel accident free. Sometimes I need a few reminders or a little extra time to understand what you’re asking. Patience, practice, and hearing “good boy” mean a lot to me!
If you have room for a sweet, goofy buddy who will follow you around hoping for a cuddle, please contact Mary’s Dogs and ask for Balou. Or Balougie. I’ll answer to that, too!
