buffy

🐾❤️ Hiiii there! My name is Buffy! ❤️🐾I'm a 5-month-old Bloodhound/Black Mouth Cur mix, weighing in at 36 pounds, with a gorgeous red-and-black coat and a heart just as beautiful! 🥰 I'm a loving, gentle giant with plenty of puppy energy and an eagerness to make my people proud! I've spent my entire life outdoors or in a shelter environment, so there's still SO much of this big, wonderful world that I haven't experienced yet! I'll need some basic training, but I'm a great listener who loves to learn and would thrive with a patient family willing to help me discover new things. 💕I'm true to my hound roots and LOVE following my nose! 👃🌹 Walks are extra exciting because I have to stop and smell all the roses along the way. I'm pretty good on a leash and don't pull much. I just want to stay beside my people and could use a little encouragement as I build my confidence. Some things are still a little new to me, like doorways! I might need a bit of reassurance before crossing one, but give me some encouragement from the other side, and I'll belly-crawl my way through in no time! 😂🐾 I'm wonderful with kiddos, the elderly, and other dogs. I love going on walks, running around, and playing, so I'm hoping for a family who enjoys having an active, growing puppy around. I'm affectionate, gentle, and always eager to please! I'm still learning about the world, and with your love, patience, and guidance, I know I'll grow into an incredible companion. ❤️If you're looking for a gorgeous, floppy-hearted hound girl who will keep you smiling, join you on adventures, and shower you with affection, I think I might be your girl! 🐶💕📞 Call the Humane Society of the Ouachitas at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me!****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
