Meet cava
Cava is a sweet, gentle 7 year old who'll chill with you at home, then play the second you grab a toy or her leash. She loves being outside and is very food motivated, so treats go a long way.
We adopted her from a rescue as a puppy in 2020. She completed obedience training at Mid-Atlantic Dog Training, walks well on a leash, and is crate trained. She's friendly with strangers, doesn't guard food or toys, and has no separation anxiety. She's gentle with our baby and makes new pup friends at boarding.
Health: her surgical vet discharged her in February 2026 after TPLO surgery on her right rear knee. She had an anal gland infection in fall 2025, treated with antibiotics. She sheds heavily twice a year.
Her ideal home has a yard or a park nearby, daily walks and play, and someone ready to love her for life. We recently had a baby and want her to get the attention she loves.
Comes with her crate, food, toys, and bowls. The last photo is our fave of her at home, from 2023.
