Meet max
This is Max - he is 7 years old and the sweetest golden retriever you've ever known. He is the best listener and best behaved, and friendly to every person. He's truly never met a stranger. He is also very anxious, as he was rescued from a puppy mill where he was separated from his mom too soon. This manifests in a few ways! He has a LOT of trouble in a crate - he will drool and cry and injure himself if he's caged in. I have never had a problem with him being left alone in the house though, as long as he has a stuffed animal at all times to suck on like a pacifier. He can also have a skin allergy, so apoquel has been a great prescription for him to be on. These are the literal ONLY things that I would think to flag. He is the perfect dog, great with animals and people of all ages, and loyal to his bones. If life were fair and perfect, he would be mine forever but lucky for you all it's not so he is looking for his new home!
