Meet maggie
Maggie is very affectionate and loves to get close on a couch and go for long walks. She has been trained to walk nicely, to sit, stay and go crate. She wants to please and is eager for more training (and more treats). I especially enjoy digging in the garden with her.Maggie was a stray that we adopted two years ago. She is about 3 1/2 yrs now.She is friendly with strangers if they greet her warmly, but will bark if they don't give her enough attention. She may jump up on people who are not prepared to countermand the behavior.Maggie is too physical for small children. We keep her out of the grandkids' play space. She joins us for meals once the kids are seated.Ideal home:Adults and older children who like dogs and can provide a calm and disciplined environment.A fenced yard where Maggie can run and play.No small dogs or cats. Probably no other dogs, but we have not tested her with big dogs.Maggie likes a lot of petting and plenty of tough chew toys. She gets car sick even with Dramamine.
