🐾 Hi, I’m Georgia! Your Future Parkour Champion and Professional Cuddlebug!🐾

Hello, world! My name is Georgia, and I’m looking for a family to call my own. ❤️

I’m pretty sure I’m a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix (that’s my best guess, anyway!), and I’ve got the long, elegant legs, athletic build, and beautiful looks to prove it. I’m basically a canine supermodel who moonlights as an Olympic athlete. If dog parkour were an actual sport, I’d already be practicing my victory speech. 🏆

You see, I have a special talent for zooming around the yard, jumping over things other dogs can’t, and leaving my friends wondering, “Wait… WHERE DID GEORGIA GO?!” I find this absolutely hilarious. 😂 I love getting everyone involved in a good game of chase, even the grumpy dogs who insist they don’t want to play. Somehow, my sweetness wins them over, too. I guess you could say I’m a professional fun-maker!

But don’t let my athletic abilities fool you. Underneath these long legs is probably the sweetest girl my rescue has ever had. 💗 I’m gentle, affectionate, and convinced that personal space is something humans invented for other people. If there’s a lap available, I’m applying for the position. Immediately. Yes, even if I don’t exactly fit. Especially if I don’t fit!

I’m also a world-class toy enthusiast. Balls are my absolute favorite, and I have developed a very sophisticated ball-management system. Step one: collect ALL the balls. Step two: move them to my dog bed. Step three: lie down and admire my personal collection. Sharing is a lovely concept, but have you considered having every ball in one convenient location? Mine. 😇🎾

I also enjoy standing on the deck like I’m playing King of the Mountain. I’m not entirely sure why the deck is there, but I do know that being on top of things is kind of my specialty!

When I’m not busy being an athlete, toy hoarder, or duck queen, I love:
🐷 Pig ears. Need I say more?
🧸 Toys of all kinds.
💕 Attention, affection, and being close to my people.
🐿️ Squirrels! I am an expert squirrel spotter and take my backyard surveillance duties VERY seriously.
🐦 Birds, sky-watching, and observing the fascinating world around me.

Speaking of observing, I’m a pretty good walking buddy! I walk nicely on a leash, but I do have one tiny quirk: I like to stop and admire things. A bird! A squirrel! A particularly interesting patch of sky! I believe walks should be enjoyed, not rushed. My motto is stop and smell the roses… and investigate everything else, too.

I’m wonderfully crate-trained, and I take treats ever so gently from your hand. I love my food, too! Although, sometimes I get a few bites into dinner and suddenly remember that my human might need checking on. So I pop over to say hello, return to my bowl, take a few more bites, and repeat. What can I say? I’m a girl with priorities, and my people are one of them. ❤️
