Meet ginger
Meet Ginger! She is a 3yr old spayed female Doberman Pinscher that weighs 81lbs. She was an owner surrender to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/6. She was surrendered due to not liking small dogs. Tho her owner states she is good with larger dogs, we do always ask if you have a dog in the home, please be sure to ask the shelter for a dog test. She has been very well cared for, yet the shelter with all the noise makes her very nervous. She walks very strongly on a leash and will pace around the play yard. She does know the sit command and takes treats gently. She enjoys being petted, and you can see in her eyes, it does give her comfort. Ginger is intelligent, sensitive, and I know will develop a close caring relationship with the right adopter. The best situation for sweet Ginger would be a family that is familiar with the Doberman breed, understands she will need a secured yard to play in, yet live indoors where would make a very kind loving and loyal companion.
