Meet bama
I found this sweet 1-year-old puppy injured and alone on the streets in Alabama. I checked for a microchip, posted her on local Facebook pages, and took her to the vet and groomer, but no owner was located. When I found her, she had a dirty rusted collar that was too small, was covered in fleas and dirt, and had dirty, irritated ears. She is now clean, healthy and doing well.
She is incredibly smart, learns quickly, and has so much potential. She is crate trained and housebroken with no accidents, and is learning sit, down, wait, and here. She also did amazingly well on a 6 hour road trip.
She is protective but has never been aggressive toward me. She needs continued socialization, leash training, and patience with puppy biting. She does currently growl at certain things she finds scary or unfamiliar. She needs a loving, active home committed to training, patience, and helping her thrive.
