Meet novastar
Novastar
Ideal Home
-Nova responds to patience and kindness. Once she settles in, she’s a ball-chasing, couch-cuddling, human-shadowing kind of doodle.
-While she appreciates her trout-based food (allergies), she’d much rather partake in whatever you are having and is more than happy to serve herself if you’re not paying attention.
-She enjoys a bit of daily activity and a yard for zoomies and fetch.
Personality
-Nova is passionate about her squirrel patrol and will tug strongly on leash-walks if prey is spotted.
-A quick game of fetch or a neighborhood walk is enough to satisfy her energy-expense and result in a hearty nap.
-If you’ve got to go to work, expect to make up for your absence with lots snuggles and tummy rubs when you return.
-You will rarely see Nova without a tennis ball in her mouth--whether she’s fetching or just carrying it around.
Is Nova your Star?
Novastar's adoption fee is $550. She is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Nova Star a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and you are within a 5-hour drive of one of our metro areas (DFW, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio), please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons and select Novastar.
