Hey, I'm Summer!
I'm a Siberian Husky mix who's smart and takes my time getting to know new people. Once I warm up, you'll have a loyal friend for life. I prefer a calm home where I can adjust at my own pace and I'd do best with humans who understand that I need space and time to feel comfortable.
Summer has had a rough beginning of life and isn't a dog who will necessarily walk into a new situation and immediately feel comfortable. Changes in routine or unfamiliar environments can be a little overwhelming for her (any shy dog really), and she will thrive when given time to take things in at slow. A patient adopter who can give Summer consistency, structure, and time to build confidence will be more important and a way to strengthen your bond.
If you're willing to put in the effort to help show this girl that the world and people aren't so bad and give her time to settle in, she will surely show you how amazing of a companion she is!
