Meet debo
Debo's a big, sweet, beautiful, independent guy who likes knowing you are nearby. He will look for you and may even grab a quick pet. Toys? Bring them on...the more, the merrier! He is super toy obsessed and can't always make up his mind on which one he wants to hold on to.
Debo is GREAT with cats! He doesn't even chase them, unless they're outside and going farther than he can. He seems to do fine with calmer dogs. Not sure how he would do with hyper-in-your-face types, as he does seem to resource guard toys, treats and food. He will give a warning growl occasionally, so you just back off and let him feel safe again. He wouldn't be a good candidate with kids due to this. His foster mom can now take a toy away and pet him while eating, but he needs time to get attached to you and trust.
We don't throw it too far, due to some arthritis, but he loves to play ball!! He's an easy dog to love, and easy to have around. This older guy needs a home who will love and understand him enough to give him space when he wants, give him plenty of toys to choose from, and a nice big dog bed to lay in. Look into those soulful eyes to see if Debo could be meant for you.
