Meet eloise
Eloise is a sweet 3-year-old girl. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and may need some time to feel comfortable, but once she knows she can trust you, her affectionate side shines! Eloise loves cuddles, soft kisses and being close to her favorite people.Eloise would thrive in a calm, adults-only home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. She enjoys the company of other dogs but prefers smaller canine friends and gentle playmates who respect everyone`s space. She could also be content as the only pet. One of Eloise’s favorite ways to feel safe is having a comfort ball or favorite toy nearby. When she starts feeling anxious, having something familiar to focus on helps her settle and keeps her from chewing on other things around the house. She is gaining confidence on walks and does better when a dog friend joins. Eloise is mostly house-trained and has made wonderful progress during her time in her foster home. She also does well in a crate while her foster mom is at work and overnight - although, if Eloise had her way, she’d much rather spend the night curled up in bed beside you!At her heart, Eloise is a loyal and loving companion who just needs a positive and patient person to continue showing her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Give her the time and kindness she needs to feel safe, and you’ll be rewarded with a devoted little friend who has much love to give.
