moose

Meet Moose! Moose is a handsome approximately 2-year-old Shar-Pei mix weighing around 37 pounds who is ready to find his forever home! He was surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center after his previous family was no longer able to care for him, and now he is hoping to find a family to call his own. Moose is house trained and crate trained, giving him a great start as he transitions into a new home. He can be selective with other dogs, so if you currently have another canine in the home, a meet and greet will be recommended prior to adoption to help ensure everyone is a good match. Moose has not previously lived with cats or children, so those would be new experiences for him and would require slow, appropriate introductions. Moose's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his basic annual boosters, and heartworm negative. If you are interested in making Moose part of your family, please submit an online adoption application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Once your application is received, RAC staff will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet. Moose is ready to find his forever family—could that be you?  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. October 9, 2026, 7:49 pm
