Meet fleezanis

Fleezanis A18771444 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -He’s a sweet, young boy who is going to need a patient adopter willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe and comfortable. He may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he starts to trust you, you’ll see what a loving little Velcro dog he can be!-Once he began feeling more comfortable with me, he wanted to be right by my side—and I mean RIGHT by my side! He was happiest when he could be touching me, climbing into my lap or sitting at my feet. He even started pouncing and being playful around me once he relaxed. He wasn’t quite ready for treats or toys yet, but he was very interested in staying close to his person.-This sweet boy is going to need someone who will go at his pace and show him that the world is a safe place. With patience, consistency and lots of love, I think he’s going to blossom into an incredibly affectionate companion.-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30**We ask that if you’re looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
