Meet chop
Chop is a 5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who has been a main character in our family since we adopted him from a local shelter in 2022. We are making the heartbreaking decision to re-home him in the midst of a divorce, as it is no longer feasible for either parent to take him.Chop is:• Well-adjusted and very house trained• Friendly with kids, babies, and people• Social with other dogs and a member of daycare• "Leash reactive" when seeing other dogs, though he does well off-leash• Healthy with no medical needsHe is a wonderful, loving dog who socializes multiple times a week in a neighborhood dog group. We are really looking for the right fit and are open to a trial period or an "open adoption" arrangement where we could babysit in the future.Rehoming fee: $25Includes: dog bed, all toys, food, and supplies.
