Meet lula
Lula was adopted by my parents 3 years ago. They moved to assisted living 2 years ago and due to declining health can no longer care for her. She sustained an unknown injury that led to only having one eye which does not slow her down. We've cared for her for 3 months, but she does not get along with our cat. Given the cat and our travel schedule, we are unable to care for her.Lula is:Affectionate and loves rolling over for belly rubsPlayful and loves tug-a-war, keep away, and fetchHousetrained and crated at nightSpayed, microchipped and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come)An inside dog who enjoys car ridesLula is a 40-pound torpedo when she gets excited and given her strength, may be a little difficult for small children to handle. While she loves to run and play, she limps afterward but recovers after a rest. She may nip if her back leg is handled roughly when limping. She appears to be very trainable and, with the right home and family, she will make a good family pet.
