Meet Saint Francis - and yes, she truly is a SAINT!

Saint Francis isn't just a beautiful Saint Bernard... she is genuinely one of the sweetest, easiest dogs you could ever hope to have as a companion.

This girl learned her name almost instantly and listens incredibly well. She is calm, gentle and wonderfully chill, but she still has enough energy to follow her person around and happily settle right by your side. She doesn't need constant entertainment - she just wants to be wherever you are.

She is currently being fostered with dogs ranging from 7 pounds all the way up to 120 pounds and does wonderfully with everyone. She truly has an easygoing personality and has been a fantastic mom to her four puppies.

Now, though, it's Mama's turn.

Saint Francis came to us extremely thin while pregnant, and then she had to nurse four puppies, so putting weight back on her has been a process. She currently weighs around 90 pounds, but she is still too thin and we expect her healthy weight to eventually be around 105 pounds once she has some time to recover and fill out.

We estimate her to be approximately 4-6 years old.

She is fully potty trained, has never been destructive, and has done so well in her foster home that she has had no need for a crate since entering our program.

She also walks beautifully and is an excellent car companion. She can be trusted to hop right into the back of a car or SUV and is happy to go along for the ride.

And while she may be incredibly easy to live with, there is one very important thing you need to know...

She is a Saint Bernard. Which means she comes with A LOT of love... and a little slobber.

A couple of quick drool-rag wipes are all it takes to keep things manageable, but her forever family needs to understand that a little Saint Bernard drool comes with the territory!

After everything she has been through - being a stray, having her puppies, nursing them and putting their needs before her own - we think it is finally time for Saint Francis to be spoiled rotten.

She has been an incredible mama.

Now she deserves to spend the rest of her life being someone's very loved, very spoiled girl.
