Meet daisy
Daisy is a sweet girl with severe anxiety. When in a calm environment she will be glued to your side and look at you with all the love and admiration she can possibly muster, but when things are busy she suffers. When we first adopted her a few years ago our children were toddlers, and Daisy adapted well. But as the children have aged, Daisy has really struggled. When the kids are out, she is calm and sweet, but when they are home she is stuck in a frenzied state. She is medicated, and we have worked with her on behavioral issues. But this has not worked for our sweet girl, and what she really needs is an environment that is quieter and a companion who can give her sole attention.
Daisy is energetic and playful. She loves fetch with her squeezy "pupcorn" toy, and she plays with sticks on her own by working them under her collar and spinning around. She's a couch pup, but has not been allowed in our bed.
A good companion for her will be gentle, affectionate, patient, and loving.
