Meet velma
MEET VELMA!
Say hello to beautiful Velma, a sweet girl who is finally feeling like herself again!
Velma is estimated to be around 4–5 years old and came to us after being found as a stray. When she arrived, we discovered she was dealing with a painful eye condition—her eyelashes were growing inward and irritating her eyes.
Velma underwent surgery to correct the problem, and what a difference it has made! Her eyes are healing, she’s much more comfortable, and most importantly, she’s HAPPY! You can truly see the change in her personality now that she isn’t living with that constant discomfort.
Velma is showing us more and more of her sweet personality every day. She loves attention, enjoys being around people, and has shown positive interest in other dogs.
This girl has already been through quite a bit, but now she’s feeling better and ready for the next chapter—the one where she finally gets a family of her own.
