Meet Elna! Are you are looking for a loyal sidekick who is a snuggle bug and Olympic-level napper? Say hello to Elna, a happy, affectionate Velcro dog ready to find her forever family! Elna’s absolute favorite activity is being near her humans. If you are sitting down, she is ready to cuddle up next to you for one of her famous marathon naps. When she’s awake, she loves using her smart brain to solve puzzle toys and empty out treats from her favorite Kong. She is great passenger in the car and prefers quiet, relaxed `sniffy walks` where she can take in all the local scents at her own pace. She is fully potty trained. She already knows how to `sit` and is incredibly eager to please, making her a joy to train as she works on mastering the rest of her basic commands. Her foster family is currently working on a very slow, positive re-introduction to crate training. Luckily, Elna has proven to be trustworthy and well-behaved when left loose in the house alone for a few hours. Elna would do great with someone that loves dog snuggles and has plenty of couch space, someone patient who is willing to continue her reward-based training and a home environment where she can safely roam free while you`re out running errands for a few hours.
