Meet maverick
We brought Maverick home from a breeder in Oklahoma about 2½ years ago, and he has been a huge part of our family ever since. He turns 3 years old on October 10 and is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix.
Maverick is an incredibly loving, sweet, loyal, goofy, intelligent, and playful dog. Once he trusts you, he forms a very strong bond and truly becomes your best friend. He loves playing outside, treats, going on walks, and relaxing on the couch with his people.
We are looking for a new home for Maverick because he struggles with fear and anxiety around strangers, young children, and unpredictable situations. As our young child has gotten older and more mobile, it has become increasingly difficult to safely manage their interactions and give Maverick the calm environment he needs. We have worked with a professional trainer to help with his behavior, and she also recommended finding him a more suitable home.
