Meet Zoey.

A senior girl in need of a calm retirement home where she can be the center of your world and live out her best senior life.

Zoey has been through a lot of ups and downs in her life and it's definitely left a mark on her.

Despit her hardships, she wants nothing more than to bust out of the shelter and be back in a loving home.

Zoey is a ball of anxiety but is currently on medications that are helping her and will need to stay on when she goes home.

She was adopted from us a few years ago but unfortunately recently returned and she is understandably not thrilled to be back.

Zoey does not do well in the shelter environment. It's just too chaotic for her fragile soul. Who can blame her?

Zoey was returned for issues with resource guarding and we are working with her on that, although we haven't had any issues with her here at the shelter.

Because of her resource guarding and anxiety, she's looking for a low traffic home without young kids and would probably do best as an only pet for now.

Zoey is nine year old stunning husky mix. She has gorgeous white fluffy fur with cream colored spots and big ears. Her soulful eyes are just begging for someone to give her a chance.

She lives for peanut butter and lounging on comfy beds and once she has bonded with you she is the most loyal girl you've ever met.

Zoey is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us.

She may be an older lady with a few flaws but she has so much love to give and deserves the world.

We just know her perfect family is out there. She needs out of the shelter like yesterday so let's not make her wait another day.

Our adoption fees includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, microchip, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm + flea + tick disease testing, fecal check, and any medical care needed while staying with us. All adoption fees can be found on our website.

The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application which can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. You can also complete an application in person at Serenity Animal Hospital.

Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed to our adoptions team at adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net. Completing an application either online or in person is always the first step to our adoption process.
