***Local adoption only: Chevy needs to be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her follow-up vetting appointments for remaining vaccines, microchip and spay with PPR's vetting partner. These appointments will be scheduled through PPR, and the cost is included in her adoption donation.

Hi, I’m Chevy, an almost 3monthold Rat Terrier blend weighing just 2.8 pounds. I may share my name with a car brand, but you won’t find me parked for long! Whether I’m racing off to investigate something interesting or stopping by for a quick hug, I approach life with confidence and a wagging tail. I’m still young, so I have plenty to learn, but I’m already off to a great start.

Favorite Things: Chevy absolutely adores toys, especially stuffed animals she can carry, toss, and chase. She never seems to run out of ways to entertain herself when a favorite toy is nearby. Whether she’s inventing her own games or inviting others to join in, she brings plenty of fun wherever she goes.

Training and Manners:  As a young puppy, Chevy is still learning the basics. She is not house trained yet and will need consistency as she develops good habits. Leash walking is also new to her, and she’s beginning to learn what household expectations look like. She can occasionally mistake household items for puppy-approved chew toys, but she’s already making good progress and responds well to guidance.

Health and Care: Chevy is a healthy puppy with simple care needs. She is up to date on her puppy vaccines. She will need a local adopter committed to bringing her to her remaining vaccine appointments, microchip and spay, which are covered by her adoption fee. She will also need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives like any dog. Her grooming routine consists of regular baths and nail trims.

Other Animals: Chevy has experience with small dogs and enjoys having canine playmates around. She has not been tested with cats, though she may do well with proper introductions and supervision.

Children: Chevy would be happy in a home with children of any age. As with all puppies, supervised interactions help create positive experiences while she continues learning and growing.
