lexus

This gal should be named Sunny for her cheery disposition and all-around good nature. She is housebroken! She spends a lot of time with chew toys but really wants to be outdoors enjoying the fresh air and going for walks as much as possible. She is easy on leash, and has only barked at deer nearby. She enjoys meeting new people and new dogs. Lexus seems to be pretty smart as she already knows "sit" and can wait patiently for her dinner and is working on "lie down" and "stay." We are trying to work on come/fetch as well. She is food-motivated and loves treats. Lexus follows her older foster brother easily, and shows no signs of a dominating personality. Indeed, I believe she might have as much golden retriever in her as Anatolian, as she is people-oriented, loves having her long coat brushed, and is ready to please both playmates and humans as much as possible. She does not, however, enjoy being crated. We have had no chewing on furniture or any destructive behavior except for doggie chew toys. You would not know that this girl is still a puppy, except that she is curious about new things, loves to meet everyone, and is ready for any adventure after any nap. If you love hiking with a dog and are looking for a sweet and huggable friend, you couldn't find a better pal than our gal, Lexus. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
