Kai is a 3 year old adult Dachshund mix who is looking for a new home because of landlord permission issues. Once he knows someone, all he wants to do is snuggle and play, and his favorite place to sit is right up on your shoulders.Kai is:• Neutered and microchipped• High energy and loves to play tug-a-war• Looking for a home without children or other dogs• A pup who loves snuggling and being carried• Happiest when his favorite Lambchop toy is nearbyHe can take a while to get used to new people and animals, so he needs an experienced owner who can provide a calm environment and help him with his training. He has shown an aggressive sounding bark and nipping when he is stressed, but these behaviors may decrease with a more experienced handler. He acts out a bit when left alone for too long, but he has been crate trained in the past and could be again. Just a heads-up: no salmon in his food or treats, as it makes him puke.
