Meet poppy
Poppy was found roaming the streets and was immediately excited and friendly when we approached her.
We searched for her owners for a few weeks, but have not had any luck. She, unfortunately, did not get along with our other dogs when we took her home, so keeping her is not an option.
Although she is not friendly with other dogs and is a bit hesitant when first meeting people, Poppy is a playful, energetic, and incredibly loving pup. She is very treat-motivated and has been responding great to training so far. With an experienced owner in a home with no other pets, we are fully confident that Poppy will thrive.
She is not currently spayed, but the city will cover the spay when a loving home is found for her! We can also cover the vaccinations for a serious adopter.
We are open to driving Poppy to a serious adopter as well.
