When it still hadn't dropped at six months, the mill didn't want him either. Lucky for Poe, rescue did.Now he's discovering what puppyhood is actually supposed to look like—and he's having a blast. Poe is 100% puppy: playful, funny, curious, wiggly, and increasingly convinced that cuddling is pretty darn great. He loves being around his people, wears his emotions right there in his ridiculously expressive eyes, and will happily graduate to being your personal arm candy.He's learning that hands mean good things, brushing isn't terrifying, household noises aren't a big deal, and people can be trusted. He's come a long way already. He's also learning the fine art of potty training. Good news: he sleeps through the night!Poe loves other dogs from tiny to medium-sized and is good with cats and people. He currently sleeps in an exercise pen with his foster siblings, but we're pretty sure he'd like to file an official application for “sleep in my person's bed.”Poe's Style: Black tuxedo. Puppy-dog eyes. Zero chill when it's playtime.His walk-out song? “I'm Too Sexy.”Obviously.Poe is neutered, fully vetted, and had his remaining puppy teeth removed during his recent surgery. He'll need regular grooming and a family willing to continue his work with brushing, handling, leash skills, potty training, and all the other important things a puppy needs to learn.He's tiny, but make no mistake, Poe has a LOT of living to do.
