Meet charlie
Charlie is a loving senior dog who is over 9 years old. I adopted him in 2018 at Brandywine Valley SPCA, and he already had some behavioral challenges when I first got him. At the time, I was healthy and able to manage his needs, but after being diagnosed with lupus in 2020, caring for him became increasingly difficult.
Charlie is energetic, quirky, affectionate, and full of personality. He does have behavioral and medical needs that require patience, consistency, and someone who is comfortable caring for a senior dog who needs extra attention.
I am looking for a loving, patient home that can provide Charlie with the time, care, structure, and veterinary attention he needs. My biggest hope is to find someone who will understand his challenges, be patient with him, and give him a safe and comfortable home for the rest of his life. This is a very difficult decision because I love Charlie, but I believe a home better equipped to meet his needs would be best for him.
