Meet Annie, a 3-month-old, 8-lb little darling who is every bit as sweet as she looks.

Annie was found on a mountain road in Puerto Rico with her mom and siblings, a tiny family trying to survive together in a place no puppy should ever have to call home. Thankfully, they were found and brought to safety — and now Annie gets the chance to grow up knowing what it feels like to be someone’s beloved baby.

And truly, sweet is the best word for Annie. She is gentle, affectionate, darling, and just an all-around lovable little puppy. She has the kind of personality that makes it very easy to fall completely in love with her.

Annie is in a foster home in Connecticut, where she’ll be waiting for her forever family. She is also available for adoption throughout the surrounding Northeast and can be transported to nearby cities/states for the right home.

Annie’s first home may have been the side of a mountain road, but we have a feeling her next one will have soft beds, endless love, and a family who can’t believe they ever lived without her.
