Meet athena
I am looking for a safe, experienced, permanent home or rescue/foster placement for Athena, my 6-year-old, 65-pound spayed female Siberian Husky.
I have had Athena for approximately four years. She was already a rescue when I got her, and I do not know her complete history before she came into my care. She has been an extremely important part of my life and was my emotional support companion during a very difficult period following my divorce.
Athena is generally a relaxed dog indoors. Her normal routine is three walks a day, breakfast in the morning, and spending much of the day relaxing inside. She is playful and affectionate with people she knows. She has done well at dog parks and has been around children without incidents.
She can be skittish on leash and needs someone who understands Husky behavior and is willing to give her time to become comfortable in new situations.
I want to be completely honest about her behavioral history because finding the RIGHT home is important
