Meet Susie!
Susie is a sweet little 1–2-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix, weighing around 8 pounds, and she is ready to find a loving forever home! She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels comfortable, her adorable personality comes shining through. Before you know it, Susie will have you laughing with her sweet and goofy personality!

Susie absolutely loves having doggy friends and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is also crate trained and doing a great job with her house training. She is still mastering her leash skills, but she is making great progress and doing a wonderful job learning. And if you really want to win her heart, bring on the treats! Susie absolutely loves them and will happily accept a tasty snack from her favorite people.

Susie would love a patient and loving family who will give her a little time to come out of her shell and show them just how special she is. Once she trusts you, you'll discover a silly, affectionate little companion with so much love to give.

If you're looking for a sweet, goofy little girl who loves dogs, treats, and being loved, Susie may be the perfect match!

Interested in becoming a forever home for Susie? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.

Our adoption fee is $750. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
