Meet Dax!
Dax is a 2-year-old, 65-pound big boy with plenty of big boy energy! He loves to run, play, play some more, and then come over for a hug when he’s ready for a break.
Dax recently returned to the shelter after spending some time in a home, and his report card is glowing. He is a wonderful dog who is still figuring out exactly where he fits best. Dax can be a little anxious when left alone, and because of his size and energy, he may be a bit too much for younger kids. He would do best with a family who understands his personality and can give him the structure, exercise, and companionship he needs.
Dax has the potential to live with another dog, and having a canine friend may even help him feel more comfortable when his people need to leave the house. He absolutely loves playing tug of war, running around, and being part of whatever his people are doing.
And if you think you’re going to get away with giving someone else a hug without Dax joining in, think again. This boy LOVES hugs and will happily make himself part of the moment!
Dax is young, gorgeous, playful, affectionate, and ready to find the forever family that is the right fit for him. Come meet this big lovable guy and see if Dax is your match!
