Meet luka
I have a purebred German Shepherd, Luka, that I need to rehome ASAP. We took him in because someone dropped him and another dog just prior to Halloween 2024. I live near a lake and animals are dropped off down here often. We live in a small home with no back yard. We never meant to keep him, I just didn't want him outside in the cold. He quickly became part of our family so we made the decision to keep him. Luka is an absolute doll inside and on a leash when other dogs aren't present. Very gentle, well trained, and took to our existing dog immediately. He is loving, protective, and well behaved. One problem is that we live in a neighborhood with a lot of other dogs. He does not like other dogs being near our yard. I believe that he is protecting his space or me as he doesn't do this with my husband or sons. He has pulled me down a couple of times trying to go after other dogs being walked. He needs a home with a fenced back yard to keep him separate from other dogs he doesn't know.
