Hello, I’m Patches. I am about 3 years old and weigh about 10#. I arrived with my sister Pinky when we were surrendered by a family here in Albuquerque. They said they could not take care of us due to other dogs, a cat, and full-time work schedules. We had lived there for about 3 years so this change is a bit of an adjustment for us.
I’m a little shy and nervous. I like it when Pinky is near by even though sometimes she annoys me. My prior owner said I use the doggy door and am pee pad trained as well as crate trained; however I always ran free inside the house. We were usually home without people for around 9 or more hours 5 days a week plus some alone time on weekends as well. So, being around people most of the time is a little new. I get along with other dogs, cats, men, women, and teens. I haven’t been in care very long, so my fosters are just starting to get acquainted with me.
