Meet Sassy!
Sassy is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu weighing 12 pounds. This sweet senior girl loves being around people and is always happy to enjoy some quality time with her favorite humans. She also loves treats, making snack time one of her favorite parts of the day.
Sassy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions around. She also requires a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore, stretch her legs, and enjoy spending time outdoors.
Sassy has special medical needs that her future family should be prepared to support. During a recent procedure, she was found to have persistent high blood pressure, and additional testing suggested a possible growth on her left adrenal gland that will require follow-up with a veterinary specialist to determine the cause. Our team will be happy to discuss her medical needs in more detail with interested adopters so her future family understands the care she may need moving forward.
A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for Sassy, her potential adopters, and any resident dogs.
With her sweet personality, love of people, appreciation for tasty treats, and gentle nature, Sassy is ready to find a loving family to enjoy her golden years with.
