Meet India ❤️

Remember that little snaggle-toothed mama found acres from the nearest main road, deep in the hop orchards with her horribly injured puppy?

She's thought to be only about 1½ years old—a darling little Brussels Griffon mix, probably with some Chihuahua thrown in.

And she is SO special.

Calm. Gentle. Completely loving. The kind of little dog who seems to melt into the people caring for her.

And that ridiculously cute snaggle tooth? Enormous brown eyes? We're obsessed. ❤️

But India brought something else with her from those hop fields.
She was pregnant. Very pregnant.

India started her birthing at 14.7 lbs and was down to 12.5 lbs after giving birth. This is probably very close to her regular weight to give you an idea on size.

Indi delivered 3 very healthy lil "Hop" puppies - They all started out at just under a half a pound at birth and today all are now over a pound - doubling in just a week!

We can't know what India's life looked like before agricultural workers found her and West out there.
But we know what happens next.
Her babies won't be born in a hop field.
They won't grow up loose beside a road.
Their mama won't raise them from the end of a chain.

India is a very, very good mama!! She takes the best care of her babies and they are hitting every milestone 🐾so far!

If you are interested in applying to adopt India or one of her pups, they will be ready to go home on November 2nd. We will collect applications and not review them until the last two weeks in October.

India will be spayed, current on vaccinations and Microchipped.
