Meet lou
Meet Lou, a big, sweet, gentle, nervous guy.
Lou is as kind as he is anxious, though we are hoping his recent neuter will calm him down. Despite Lou’s fear, he’s never shown any signs of aggression. He follows his humans around and loves getting love- pets, hugs, face squishes.
This boy really shines when he steps outside. From day one, he made it clear: ball is life. He loves tossing the ball for himself in the backyard. He loves when his human throws the ball for him too, but he often gets so excited he forgets to pick it up when he runs back.
Lou is still nervous walking on leash and will require a firm handler. Due to his shyness, an experienced dog owner is preferred, especially if they have large breed experience. He would be happiest in a home with no small children due to their sometimes unpredictable nature.
Lou is a wonderful companion who needs patience and love and attention- and exercise to keep a healthy weight!
