Recently released from a commercial breeder, Spencer Tracy was born on 4/6/26 and is a purebred miniature Dachshund. He is a happy, active puppy who will continue to learn new skills in his foster home.
Spencer is the typical puppy, with puppy energy and puppy teeth who needs appropriate items to chew and to have outlets for his energy.
The ideal home for Spencer will have a securely fenced yard as he is not yet leash trained, a resident canine for a mentor and playmate and any children in the household should be over the age of 10. He will have age-appropriate vaccinations, be microchipped, and neutered prior to adoption.
The suggested adoption donation for Spencer is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
